Ministries
The following are the various ministries in Jesus Youth Mumbai that are working
together with a purpose of reaching out to the youth of today.
- Intercession Ministry
"You cannot do anything except through me" (John 15:5b). All the ministries of Jesus
Youth begin and end with prayers. We encourage and mobilize the youth to pray for
the needs of people, the Church, various ministries, programmes etc.
- Formation Ministry
Planning and Organizing formation oriented programmes of youth at various levels
of progress in spiritual life.
- Parish Ministry
Focussing on the youth in the parishes, conducting one day programmes, prayer meetings
etc.
- Professionals' Ministry
Bringing fellowships of young professionals with clear orientation of life centered
on prayer and making right choices in their professional life.
- Campus Ministry
For the youth in the collegs and institutions of higher education, involving the
students as well as the staffs.
- Teens' Ministry
Giving an initialization in Spirit-filled life for school going children
- Family Cell
Bringing together young couples and their families to grow in the Christian vision
of family life, upbringing of children etc.
- Music & Audio Visual Ministries
Using the talents of young people to spread the Word of God and the message of His
love.
- Media Ministry
Channelizing the talents of people who are involved professionally in the media
world and those who have a strong aptitude towards this area for influencing the
public opinion in towards a culture of love, life and in line with the Gospel values.
- Outreach Ministry
Building an attitude of sharing what we have with the poor and the needy, and taking
concrete steps in this direction.
- Finance Ministry
Growing in the virtue of Tithing and sharing the earnings for the glory of God,
and mobilizing funds for the various needs for the other ministries.
